Don’t Buy the Demo! How to Ask the Right Technical Questions

Practices and Groups typically evaluate EDR and Dental Software systems solely based on what they can see in a demo…  And that’s what the vendor is hoping for.  However, as important for long term success is to be aware of the technology “under the hood” that is responsible for making the application operate. Without understanding the underlying technology, or at least the questions to ask, a Provider or Practice Manager might purchase a product that looks like a new Cadillac but is powered by an older VW engine and doesn’t have the capability to grow as they grow.
